Bewdley is a large, former country junction station situated high above the River Severn, on a flat area cut out of the hillside and is located only a few minutes from the attractive riverside town. All important is the authentic Great Western atmosphere, complete with original 1857 buildings including footbridge, canopy and goods shed. Many additional items have been collected during its lifetime such as a variety of platform barrows, trunks and suitcases, period cast iron lamp posts and the recently installed “Windsor” style lamps.
